OUR STORY

It all started when…

We were running the Bearded Outdoors Journal and we increasing felt that the brand limited our scope to cover subjects that we found interesting. Bearded Outdoors started as a one-man-company and grew into a platform to share our community and work in partnership with a varied group of people.

The Bryn Mor Journal was therefore born! The name translates from Welsh to Hill and Sea which can encompass so much. We love to explore the land, its mountains and rivers which eventual cascade to the ocean where we feel most at home. The people, art and moments we find along the way will make their way into this journal.

Ran by, husband and wife, Joe & Sam the journal is not just a window into their lifes but a view of the world from their perspective. Whether thats from the drivers seat of their camper van, the push of a pedal on a gravel track or the feeling the trail through the soles of their hiking boots. With our Welsh roots, Bryn Mor being a family name and the love of the great outdoors we couldn’t think of a more perfect title for our new project.

Music, literature and art play a huge part in creating a world which inspires and drives people so the journal will endeavour to bring you the best of this and the people that create such things.

Most importantly we want to inspire people through inclusivity and by knocking down any barriers built up by a society we’re trying to escape from.
